Weather Update: Rain alert in Punjab, Haryana, UP-Bihar, Mercury drops in Delhi

New Delhi: We are back again with the weather news of December 30 in the country. As we mentioned earlier, the weather systems that were prevailing over the northern and central parts of the country are now moving in an easterly direction. For this reason there is a circulation over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. From where a trough is extending up to Telangana.

Weather Updates:

Plenty of moisture made good rains from central India to eastern India. Rain activities are already there, but clouds remain over East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand and Northeast states today. According to the India Meteorological Department, today on December 30, the weather will be clear in parts of eastern UP. However, the weather movement will continue over the rest of the eastern states.

Rain in Jammu-Kashmir:

The weather from hills to plains will be generally clear and dry on 30th December as the weather systems move eastwards from North India. Changes still remain in the north-eastern region of Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit, Baltistan. In the next 24 hours, the entire region of Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal and Uttarakhand will remain cloudy. Rain cannot be expected from these clouds. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be rain in the eastern areas of Uttarakhand. At the same time, talking about the plains, the weather will be clear and dry in the eastern and western regions of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh, there is no chance of rain on December 30.

Winters in UP:

Dense fog may occur at many places in Bihar, Jharkhand areas and West Bengal as well.
