Weather Update: Minimum temperature at 4 degree Celsius in Delhi, IMD issues alert

New Delhi: It is freezing cold all over North India including Delhi-NCR, there is a continuous drop in the temperature, due to the cold wave, Delhi-NCR is chilling. IMD issues Yellow Alert:

In view of the severe winter, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Monday. The Meteorological Department has forecast that light fog can be recorded in the morning. The maximum temperature can drop to 19 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature can drop to four degree Celsius. Due to the speed of the winds being up to 14 kilometers per hour, the effect of sunlight can prove to be ineffective even during the day. In the evening, there will be a feeling of melting winter. In the last 24 hours, the humidity level in the air has been recorded from 39 to 85 percent.

According to SAFAR, the air quality monitoring agency of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, there has been an improvement in the air quality on Sunday, but today it is likely to remain in the very poor category due to the cold wave.

After this, when the cold wave subsides, some improvement will definitely be seen in it. Apart from this, today PM 10 and PM 2.5 are likely to be 172 and 96 respectively. Meanwhile, the humidity will remain between 90 to 95.

The Meteorological Department says that snowfall is affecting the plains in many areas of Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, causing the temperature to drop and people lighting bonfires on the streets of Delhi to avoid this severe cold. Looks like it's getting hot.
