Weather Update: IMD issues Yellow alert in Delhi-NCR & UP

IMD forecasted rain for the whole week. The department has also issued a yellow alert from September 21 to 26.

New Delhi: Monsoon is about to depart from Delhi-NCR. It will keep people from getting soaked by the rain on the go. There is a possibility of rain due to change in weather once again from Tuesday. Light to moderate rain will start from Tuesday. Due to this, the temperature will start decreasing from Wednesday. By the end of the week, the maximum temperature will reach 31 degrees while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 degrees.

Heavy Rain Alert in Delhi:

There has been a brake on rain in Delhi since last week. There are light clouds in the sky but the sun is also coming out. Like Sunday, it was sunny on Monday, due to which there was a feeling of humidity. In between, the clouds kept covering the sky. According to the Meteorological Department, it will rain from Tuesday.

The department has forecast rain for the whole week. The department has also issued a yellow alert from September 21 to 26. There is a possibility of light rain at some places during this period.

Delhi on Monday recorded a maximum temperature of 35.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 26.5 degrees Celsius. The lowest maximum temperature was recorded at Mayur Vihar Meteorological Center at 33.5 degrees Celsius. While Lodhi Road recorded 34.4 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be 34 degrees on Tuesday.

Forecast: The sky will remain cloudy and there is a possibility of light rain.

Yellow Alert in UP:

An alert has been issued for Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Kannauj, Hardoi and Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Shravasti, Barabanki, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jalaun, Hamirpur.
