Weather Update: IMD issues rain alert in Himachal Pradesh, Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: After the monsoon is fully active, almost all the states are receiving heavy rains. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain is expected to remain better in August-September as well.

Monsoon 2021:

If we talk about the forecast of the Meteorological Department for the next few days, then there may be heavy rain in most of the states of North India.

According to the Meteorological Department, today (August 4, 2021) there is a possibility of heavy rain in West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh.

Rain alert in Bihar:

Heavy rain with lightning may occur in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. Similarly, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Maharashtra as well. Strong winds are expected in Saurashtra and Kutch. There is also an alert of heavy rain in West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan.

Heavy Rainfall in Odisha:

For August 5, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in eastern Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. Strong winds are expected over Saurashtra and Kutch. Heavy rain may occur in West Madhya Pradesh and Odisha, while lightning is also expected in Jharkhand. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Maharashtra also.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarakhand, UP, West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya and other northeastern states on 6th August.

Heavy rain is likely over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, UPA West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Sikkim and Northeast states for 7th August.
