Weather Update: IMD issues orange alert in Delhi-NCR for two days

New Delhi: Monsoon is active once again. North India can get relief from the heat this week. It has been cloudy in Delhi-NCR since this morning. The Meteorological Department had predicted on the previous day that the rainy season would start once again in the hilly areas including Delhi-NCR.

IMD issues rain alert:

Most of the states including Uttarakhand have already faced floods and landslides due to heavy rains. In such a situation, a yellow and orange alert has also been issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for such states.

On the other hand, if we talk about the latest updates of the weather, then in the next few hours there may be heavy rain in many areas of UP. During this, heavy rains are expected in many districts of Haryana including Bijnor, Khatauli, Sakoti Tanda, Hastinapur, Chandpur, Baraut, Daurala, Meerut, Modinagar.

Rain in UP, Uttarakhand:

Southwest Monsoon has once again become active in North India. After about two weeks, an alert was issued to start raining again from today i.e. August 19. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains are expected at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand till August 21.

Not only this, the rainy season is also prevailing in Bihar and for the past few days, it is raining every day in different areas. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh till August 20-21. At the same time, heavy rain may occur at some places of Bihar on August 20- 22.

There is a rain alert in Madhya Pradesh till August 20. Here a warning of heavy rain has been issued in 21 districts with thunderstorms. Not only this, a yellow alert has been issued for them.
