New Delhi: Talking about the weather of the country, today on February 16, the weather will be mainly dry. There is a possibility of rain in the hilly areas of North India. For this reason, the effect of western disturbance is still visible in the mountainous areas of North India.

The effect of Western Disturbance still persists over the mountainous parts of North India, especially from Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad to Ladakh and northern areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh to Uttarakhand.

It is estimated that light rain may occur at isolated places over Gulmarg, Kulgam, Pahalgam and adjoining areas in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain forecast at isolated places in Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu-Manali in Himachal Pradesh and also in Joshimath, Uttarkashi and Kedarnath, Badrinath in Uttarakhand.


Similarly, if we talk about the plains, then the north-westerly wind will blow in the plains of North India and in the eastern parts of the country. The temperature in the Indo-Gangetic Plains has also started increasing.

Similarly, the day temperature has started increasing in other parts of the country as well, due to which the heat is being felt as compared to earlier. Today on February 16, the effect of cold winds is visible from Punjab to Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. The drop in temperature will be visible both day and night. These winds will blow from Jaipur in Rajasthan to Bhopal and northern parts of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. Below this the wind direction will be completely different.

Today, the winds will reach from the side of Bengal, which will prevail over the southern parts of Odisha and most parts of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, as well as over most of the parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan. Will be from Because of this, this part of the country will see mainly dry weather. Because of this, the temperature in these parts will increase as compared to earlier.
