New Delhi: The day started with rain in many parts of the country on Friday. There has been light to moderate rain at some places. The Meteorological Department had also predicted rain in areas of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR.

Rain in North:

The department had predicted that light to moderate intensity thunderstorms would occur at isolated places over Delhi and NCR (Gurugram, Greater Noida, Noida, Faridabad) Palwal, Sohana, Manesar (Haryana) Deoband, Najibabad, Saharanpur (UP) this morning. In the next few hours, there will be rain in some areas of the state. Light to moderate rain is likely in some parts of Bihar today. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of thunderstorms with strong winds at some places.

This has given relief to the people from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of cloudy sky, strong winds and rain later in the afternoon.
