New Delhi: Light snowfall which started in Jammu and Kashmir last day has now taken a widespread form. The local people are facing many problems due to heavy snowfall. Along with the problems of the general public, flights have been delayed due to heavy snowfall at the airport. Visibility problem has arisen due to snowfall.

Weather Update:

Due to the sudden change in the weather, the heavy snowfall that started has increased the difficulties of the people. Giving information about the delay in flights due to snowfall, the Srinagar airport management said, "Our airport is experiencing continuous heavy snowfall, due to which snow has accumulated on the runway. However, our operation to clear the snow continued. It is in progress. Meanwhile the visibility is just 400 meters, due to which all airlines are running late. We will keep updating the flight status continuously."

Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 3.8 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam minus 2.4 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg minus 5 degrees Celsius on the previous day. Apart from this, the minimum temperature in Jammu city was 12.8 degrees Celsius, Katra 12.2 degrees Celsius, Banihal 4.6 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 5.1 degrees Celsius.
