Through this also moisture is causing seasonal changes in the plains. Moisture is also coming into the plains from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. But, the effect of the dense clouds that have remained in the mountainous areas of North India can remain for the next 24 to 48 hours. At the same time, there is very dense cloud cover in North India. There is no weather system in the regions of South India. Hence, the weather will be mainly dry over the entire region.

Snowfall in Himachal-Uttarakhand:

The situation has worsened today due to heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh. More than 731 roads, including four national highways in the state, have been closed. Everywhere vehicles are stuck due to snow lying on the roads. From Himachal-Uttarakhand to Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal, similar weather is being hit. The rain in the cold season has added to the cold.

The Meteorological Department says that such conditions will remain for a day or two more. In Himachal and Uttarakhand, there are reports of road closure due to snowfall. Electricity and water supply has also stopped. Due to which common life has been greatly affected. The Disaster Management Authority of Himachal Pradesh said that 102 water supply schemes of the state have been disrupted, as well as 1365 power supply schemes have also been affected.

Rain in UP:

Talking about Uttar Pradesh, light rain may occur at isolated places in the Terai region between Meerut and Bareilly in the west. At the same time, if seen in the east, there is a possibility of light rain somewhere between Sitapur and adjoining areas, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur.
