Weather Update: Finally Rainy season begins in Delhi; Flood like situation in Bihar

Lucknow: Delhiites finally got relief from the heat today. In the morning, many areas of the capital have recorded rain accompanied by strong winds. On the other hand, after the onset of monsoon in Bihar, the risk of flood has increased.

Rain in Delhi:

In such a situation, an alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department. The speed of monsoon is now gradually increasing in North India as well. Even though the Southwest Monsoon is taking some time to reach the capital Delhi, but monsoon has already entered in many states of North India.

Heavy Rain in Bihar:

Talking about the latest situation, monsoon has knocked in Bihar. Monsoon rains are increasing the problems of people in Bihar. According to the report, now the rainy season is not taking its name to stop. The situation has become such that the water level of the major rivers of the state including Gandak is increasing rapidly. Due to which a flood-like situation has arisen in many districts including West Champaran. People are also facing water logging situation in many villages and cities.

After the onset of monsoon from Kerala, it is reaching every nook and corner of the country. Maharashtra has also received heavy rains due to monsoon, due to which people are facing a lot of problems. On the previous day too, rain has been recorded in many areas including Mumbai.

Rain Alert in UP:

At the same time, monsoon has also entered in UP. The situation here has recorded heavy rains in many areas. This morning too rain has been recorded in Varanasi.

Giving the latest information, the Meteorological Department said that conditions are not yet favorable for the advance of monsoon in Rajasthan, rest parts of Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. It is believed that in the next 5 days, the monsoon will reach the whole of UP. It is believed that due to the Western Disturbance, the pace of monsoon has decreased in North-West India and it may take 7 to 10 days to reach Delhi. A rain alert was issued by the Meteorological Department in Delhi on Wednesday as well. However, the capital is receiving pre-monsoon rains these days.
