IMD Alert: Brace for Biting Cold! Delhi-NCR Set to Embrace Winter Vibes

New Delhi: Despite the further advance of the Western Disturbance over the areas of North India, the clouds will remain up to the northern areas of Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad and Ladakh, Uttarakhand. It is being told in the forecast of the Meteorological Department that the new Western Disturbance is going to come around February 13, but it will remain weak. A trough is extending from Karnataka to West Bengal.

Weather Update:

Due to which clouds are visible over these areas of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal. Also, rain is expected at isolated places in the southern states on February 11. Clouds are also visible in the southern parts of Northeast India including Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura. Fog also remained very dense at some places. Fog remained in many places from Punjab to Bihar. Soon the effect of strong winds will increase, due to which there will be a reduction in fog.

Rain Alert:

Today let's talk about the southern states first. Rainfall has been decreasing over South Peninsular India for a long time. However, in spite of this, rain conditions remain over Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala. Winds are reaching here from the Bay of Bengal side in most areas. Including part of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, all areas of Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.


But chances of rain are only in parts of Tamil Nadu and Karal. There is a possibility of rain from Salem, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Pamban to Puducherry, Madurai, Kanyakumari. Some parts of Kerala including Trivandrum and Kochi may also receive rain. The lack of rain in Lakshadweep can be compensated in the next three-four days.

The weather over the central parts of the country will remain dry for the time being. The weather will remain dry here from Odisha to Chhattisgarh and places like Marathwada, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan Goa, Goa etc. Clouds are visible at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The weather is forecast to remain dry in Gujarat as well.
