Weather Update: Cold wave to hit Himachal, Rain alert in Delhi, Haryana, Tamil Nadu

New Delhi: The clouds formed over the mountains of North India are now moving towards the east. The western disturbance circulation is now moving eastwards. Due to these weather systems, rain has been recorded in Delhi, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and parts of Madhya Pradesh.

Winter chill makes a comeback:

Today on February 10, the weather will be mainly clear over the mountains of North India. Rain forecast in the lowland region of Uttar Pradesh, East and West, and adjoining areas of Lucknow, Barabanki and Sitapur on Thursday morning. Similar rain may also occur in Uttarakhand. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), rain is expected from Jammu and Kashmir to Himachal and Uttarakhand except Nainital and Pithoragarh and in southeast and eastern parts. Weather will remain dry in Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad and Ladakh as well. The weather will remain dry over Punjab, Haryana and Delhi, southern parts of western Uttar Pradesh and eastern and western parts of Rajasthan and cold winds from the mountains will leave their effect.

Rain in North India:

Due to the effect of rain and disturbance, winter made a comeback. People started roaming comfortably, but now as soon as the clouds have cleared, the cold will start increasing once again. Despite being sunny, day and night temperatures will once again go down.

In Gujarat, cold winds will prevail at many places in Saurashtra, Kutch and north-east areas.
