According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the national capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh will witness severe heat wave this year. Heatwave effect is visible in many states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Gujarat.

The weather will remain dry like this for the rest of the month of March also. But, the most disturbing thing is that while on one hand the heat will increase continuously, on the other hand there is no possibility of rain at all. Summer is wreaking havoc in Rajasthan. Here the temperature of many districts has crossed 40 degree Celsius. The temperature in most areas of North India has been increasing continuously since last week. Heat waves have made the situation worse. Even today, the temperature is expected to remain above normal in the capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

Warm winds are blowing from the north-west direction in most of the states of the country. Its effect is visible on the weather of entire North India. There is no possibility of rain in the states of North India including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh even on 22 March amidst increasing heat.

On the other hand, Cyclone Asani 2022 is getting stronger. It is estimated that at any time today this storm will hit the coasts of Myanmar. Due to the effect of this system, the weather on the land parts of India has also changed a lot. Due to its effect, clouds are visible over the states of Central and South India. Parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha may witness dust storm and drizzle today. Similar situations can be seen in Vidarbha, Marathwada.
