Weather Today: Heavy Rain in Delhi, Haryana & Punjab, Rise in Temperature in Uttar Pradesh

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has already been giving information that in the early days of March, the weather activities will intensify over the mountains of North India. The month of March has started and the weather has started taking a turn once again. In this sequence, the minimum temperature of the capital Delhi is decreasing.

Weather Update:

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the humidity level in the morning air is being seen up to 85 percent in Delhi. Light rain is expected in the national capital on March 2. After which an increase in mercury will be recorded. Today i.e. on Wednesday, the minimum temperature of Delhi is likely to be around 10 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is around 28 degree Celsius. Also, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are possible here.

Rain in Gulmarg:

Due to Western Disturbance, clouds are visible over the mountains of North India. Also, clouds are visible over some areas of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Right now the wind is blowing from the west. For this reason, the weather is clearly visible from Punjab to Bihar. Clouds are visible at isolated places over Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh in the country.

Today i.e. on March 2, there will be rain in Jammu and Kashmir from Gulmarg, Qazigund, Kulgam, Pahalgam to Jammu, Udhampur, Katra. There is also a possibility of snowfall at some places. And there may be rain at some places in Uttarakhand as well. Also, there are signs of rain in Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Ladakh.

Light to moderate rain is also seen in the plains of the country. In Rajasthan, there is a possibility of rain in nearby parts including Churu, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Bikaner. In Punjab, there will be a similar possibility between Patiala, Ludhiana, Fazilka and Moga. Whereas, there may be rain in Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh, Palwal, Jhajjar, Gurugram etc.

In Uttar Pradesh, weather will remain dry in Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Bareilly, Agra, Gautam Budh Nagar, Etah, Etawah, Mathura, Kasganj, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bahraich and Gorakhpur and Varanasi on March 2. Cold winds will blow from the west here.

Weather will also remain dry over Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh may see rain. Clouds will be visible at some places over South Odisha, South Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. Weather will remain dry over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Goa, Daman and Diu.
