According to the report, western disturbance may remain active till February 25, due to which there is a possibility of snowfall and rain in the mountainous areas.

New Delhi: The weather of the country is changing every day. Now, after the rise of summer, the havoc of winter is returning once again. According to the report, western disturbance may remain active till February 25, due to which there is a possibility of snowfall and rain in the mountainous areas.

At Puducherry, schools have been closed due to rain. Instructions have been given to close all government and private schools from class 1 to 9 here. Here all schools were declared closed till 22 February i.e. till today.

Rain and fog alert in North India:

Due to the active Western Disturbance, snowfall and rain may occur in many areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. While rain, fog and winters are expected to increase in other states, according to the weather department, the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand may receive rain and snowfall from February 25 to 28.

Chamoli district may receive 1-2 cm of rain and snowfall of up to 10-20 cm on February 25 and 26. There is also a possibility of 2-3 cm of rain and snowfall of 20-30 cm at some places in the district from 27 to 28 February.

Rain Alert in Himachal:

In Himachal Pradesh, the weather has been forecast to be bad for a few days. Meteorological Center Shimla has forecast the weather from 21 to 25 February in Himachal Pradesh. The weather will be bad in the higher reaches of the state from 21 to 25 February. At the same time, till 23 February a yellow alert has been issued in Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu and Chamba with rain warning.
