Weather Today: IMD predicts rise in temperature in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh

Weather Forecast: A Western Disturbance is active over North India. A circulation is also present over Rajasthan, which has affected the speed of winds in that area. Also, a circulation is made over the Bay of Bengal. In this way, seasonal movements are happening simultaneously at different places in the country, whose effect is visible from mountain to plain. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the pre-monsoon season is currently going on in the country. In this case the temperature starts increasing. West-northwesterly winds will prevail over Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi and all parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Due to the influence of these winds, temperatures are marginally below normal in most areas. The maximum temperature of the national capital Delhi has started reaching between 30 and 32 degrees. While the minimum temperature is between 15-16 degree Celsius at most places. Similar temperatures are in Rajasthan as well as in parts of Haryana.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature has started increasing in the districts of Aligarh, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur etc. Due to the excessive effect of the sun, now the feeling of heat has started to increase. Similarly, if we talk about Central India, then Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will see dry weather on March 12. The effect of northerly winds will also be visible here, due to which the weather will remain cold.

Similarly, due to moist sea winds, humid winds are blowing in Gujarat today, due to which the temperature has increased. Even today, the central parts of Maharashtra are witnessing cloudy weather over Sangli, Satara, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Mumbai and some adjoining areas, due to which light rain may occur at isolated places.

Weather will remain dry today in all cities of Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Karnataka. Goa will also see dry weather for the time being. Due to the circulation over the Bay of Bengal, clouds will be seen over Rayalaseema, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and East Coast of Tamil Nadu.
