Weather Forecast: Rain Alert with thunderstorms in these states of India

New Delhi: The weather is expected to change rapidly once again. According to the forecast by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in most parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of light rain in many states including the national capital Delhi, Punjab, Haryana.

Rain and Snowfall Alert:

According to the meteorological forecast, another western disturbance is occurring in the Western Himalayan region. It will start taking effect from 5 March. Due to its effect, the area may receive heavy rain and snowfall from 6 to 8 March. Due to this, rain and snowfall warnings have been issued in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on March 5 and 6 in the western Himalayas.

Thunderstorm in Arunachal:

According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rains with heavy thunderstorms in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura for the next two to three days. There is also a possibility of storms in Assam and Meghalaya on 4 March.

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of light rain in Punjab from 6 to 7 March. On March 7, there is a possibility of light rain and hailstorm in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning at different places in Haryana, Chandigarh and West Uttar Pradesh on March 7.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Delhi this week. According to the department, due to western disturbances, there may be light rain along with thunderstorms in the capital on Sunday. Due to this, the temperature in Delhi is also expected to fall.
