New Delhi: There is a sudden change in the weather in the country. Day temperatures are now increasing in most areas of the country. However, in most places in the morning and evening, the temperature is slightly lower than in the daytime.

Snowfall in Hills:

Talking about the hilly areas, there is intermittent snowfall and rain. The effect of this is being seen on the plains of the country including North India. It is having an impact on the night temperature in the plains of the country.

Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported that due to the Western Disturbance, the northern-eastern states of the country may receive heavy rains in the next three to four days. According to the Meteorological Department, these states include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and Manipur.

Rain in North India:

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of strong winds along with strong rains in all these North-East states in the next three to four days. During this time, winds in these states can run at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, western disturbances will also affect northern parts of the country.

The Meteorological Department has also informed that due to this western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in many other parts of the country like Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh by March 16. Apart from this, rain and snowfall are also expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad during this period.
