New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that it is our responsibility to stop the third wave of Coronavirus. The PM said that we also have to keep an eye on every variant of the corona virus.

For this, recently the cabinet has also approved a new package of Rs 23,000 crore. This package will help every state in the North East to strengthen its health infrastructure.

The experiences we have got in the last 1.5 years. We have to make full use of that too.

He said that the whole country and especially our health workers have worked hard for the last one and a half years to fulfill their responsibility.

Despite the geographical challenges of the Northeast, infrastructure from testing and treatment to vaccination has been prepared.

The PM said that we have to work fast to build infrastructure related to pediatric care, especially on oxygen. Hundreds of new oxygen plants are being set up in the country through PM Cares.
