We don't count casualties, we ensure target is hit: IAF Chief BS Dhanoa

Bengaluru: Speaking on the surgical strike 2.0 on Balakot camp for the first time, the Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa, on Monday, said that force is not tend to count the number of deaths and the casualty figure will be given out by the government.
Addressing a press conference here, Dhanoa said that Air Force succesfully completed its mission and all the targets were demolished completely. He said, "The death toll depends on the number of people present at the target," adding, "We see whether the target is hit or not."
Over the questions raised on the use of an old MiG 21 jet aircrafts, Dhanoa said that every aircraft is useful when an adversary attacks you. He said, "MiG 21 jet used in the dog fight with Pakistan is an upgraded aircraft with advanced weapons system."
On a query about Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman's re-entry to the cockpit, the IAF Chief said that he will be allowed to fly a fighter plane again only if he is found physically fit.
Dhanoa said, "Abhinandan flying again depends on his medical fitness. If he is fit to fly a fighter plane then he will go back to the same unit."

Dhanoa's statements came after opposition parties were doubting the capabilities of Indian Air Force and were demandind to furnish the proof of air strikes on Pakistan's Balakot Area.
