VVIP Aircraft for President and Prime Minister all set to arrive from US

The two Boeing-777-300ER aircraft purchased for the President and Prime Minister of India are almost ready. These two new aircraft to India will be used to fly the Prime Minister, President and Vice President, which will be flown by Air Force pilots.

New Delhi: The waiting of Air India One for India's VVIP fleet is over now. According to information by government sources that Air India One can reach Delhi International Airport today.

VVIP Aircraft for President and Prime Minister of India:

The two Boeing-777-300ER aircraft purchased for the President and Prime Minister of India are almost ready. These planes are specially coming for Prime Minister and President.

Air India One arriving India from US:

Air India One has the advance and secure communication system. It can take advantage of audio and video communication function in mid-air. No one can hack or trap this. Newly designed VIP aircraft for the President, Vice President and Prime Minister are arriving from the US today.

Indian Air Force pilots will operate the special aircraft. However, Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) will handle the maintenance of both these new aircraft. These aircrafts were coming in July but then dates changed.

Special Aircraft for President and PM:

At present, the Prime Minister, President and Vice President of the country travel by Air India B747 aircraft. These planes 'Air India One' in list. PM of India and other VIP used this plane. Officials said that they will use these planes for commercial operations .

Now authorities will use both B-777 aircraft for traveling of VVIP people. All of those aircraft were in Air India's fleet of commercial aircraft for some time in the year 2018. Those aircraft were then sent back to Boeing to do some changes. Both B777 aircraft will be equipped with state-of-the-art missile defense systems.
