Priyanka Gandhi castigates Vinay Katiyar for his sexist comment on her

New Delhi: The Congress star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi handed a befitting reply to rather left-handed comment of senior Bhartiya Janata Party leader Vinay Katiyar, that there are several prettier and beautiful star campaigners than the former.

The BJP leader, on Wednesday, said, “Unse jyada bohut see sundar mahilayen hai jo star campaigner hain” which translates to, “there are several artists and heroines who are more beautiful than her.”

Laughing at the remarks made by Katiyar, Congress Party's Priyanka Gandhi said, “His comments expose the BJP's mindset towards the better half of the population of India."

According to the tweet posted by her aide Preeti Sahai," Ha ha ha, he's right...they do (are)!!.... And if that's all he sees in my colleagues who are such strong, brave and beautiful women that have battled through all sorts of hardships to get where they are, then he makes me laugh even more."

It may be known that Katiyar's comment came to light hours after the Rajya Sabha MP and leader of the Janata Dal (United) Sharad Yadav made controversial comments comparing the honour of daughters with the honour of votes while addressing the gathering of people in Patna.
