Vijay Rupani, cabinet ministers take oath in Gujarat; check list

Gandhinagar: The re-elected Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani's oath ceremony was graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.

The Gujarat CM took the oath of office and secrecy in state capital Gandhinagar in his mother-tongue Gujarati. Party President Amit Shah was also at the event along with all the key authorities of the party. Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar also attended the ceremony.

Rupani took oath oath along with 19 other ministers in his cabinet. The retained CM of Gujarat also visited the Akshardham temple along with his wife.

Nitin Patel ttok oath as the deputy CM of the state.

It is to be mentioned that Rupani and Patel will be serving the state as the CM and Deputy CM for the second time.

The party authorities have decided to retain the duo on their positions after the low margin victory in Gujarat 2017 assembly elections.

The results of the assembly elections in the state were announced last week.
