Gangster Vikas Dubey has surrendered at Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. According to sources, the temple security agency caught him amid tight security.

Vikas Dubey arrested from Mahakal Ujjain:

On Thursday, Vikas Dubey reached Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh and arrested himself in the famous Mahakal temple. He surrendered by going to the security agency of the Mahakal temple. At the same time, the temple security agency has handed it over to the police. According to sources, Vikas has been taken by police from Mahakal police station to an unknown location.

Accused of killing 8 cops in Chaubepur:

On July 2, under the Chaubepur police station area in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, the police in search of Vikas Dubey, who had run away after killing 8 policemen. Search is being made for him and his associates in every district of UP.

Planning to surrender in News Studio:

During this, Reports say Dubey was trying to surrender himself. For this, he was earlier going to Noida Film City, where he was plotting to surrender live in the channel's studios, though after the information, the police surrounded every TV channel in Noida.

The prize money increased to Rs 5 lakh on Vikas Dubey, the main accused in the Kanpur shootout. ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar informed this during the press conference on Wednesday.
