UK govt freezes properties worth $6.7 billions of Dawood
New Delhi: The UK government has seized the assets worth $6.7 billions of the most wanted underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim.
The action against India's most wanted criminal comes nearly two years after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's UK tour. During his tour to UK in November 2015, PM Modi, had reportedly handed over a dossier concerning the underworld gangster to his then British counterpart David Cameron.
According to the Forbes, Dawood is one of the richest gangsters of all year.

Dawood is wanted on the charges of murder, extortion, targeted killing, drug trafficking, terrorism and various other cases.
In 2011, he was named number three on World's 10 most wanted criminals.
Ibrahim is widely believed to have masterminded the March 1993 bombings in Bombay. In 2003, the Indian and United States government's declared Ibrahim a "Global Terrorist."
