Two jawans martyred, two terrorists killed as army foils infiltration bid

Srinagar: The Army on Saturday foiled an infiltration bid on the Line of Control in north Kashmir's Naugam sector.

Two soldiers were martyred and two militants were killed in the operation.

Army spokesperson Col Rajesh Kalia said the forces engaged a group of infiltrators near the Line of Control and gunned down two militants, adding that two soldiers were also martyred in the gun battle.

"An infiltration bid was foiled by alert troops along the LoC in Naugam sector. Two infiltrating terrorists were killed," he said.
