New Delhi: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb tested positive for covid-19. He himself has given information about it by tweeting. He wrote, "I have isolated myself at home on the advice of doctors."

CM Biplab Deb also wrote, 'I request everyone to please follow covid precautions.' There is a record increase in new cases of corona virus in the country. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, 1,15,736 new cases of infection were registered in the country, which is the highest number of cases in a day.

Due to the fast growing infection, the number of active patients of covid has also increased to 8,43,473. At the same time, 630 more people died in the last 24 hours. In Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, new cases of covid-19 are increasing the most.

Corona outbreak in India:

According to the Health Ministry, 80.04% of new cases were reported from these 8 states on Tuesday. Amidst the demand by various states to apply vaccine to all, the central government said that the goal is to protect the most at-risk people. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) also wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggesting that all people above 18 years of age should be allowed to take the vaccine.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that buses coming to and from Chhattisgarh have been suspended till April 15 in view of the growing Corona case.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that more than 2000 beds have been increased in hospitals in the last three days. He said, "I appeal to people to wear masks and follow social distancing."

Delhi High Court has ordered that people will have to wear masks even if they sit alone in the car. The High Court considered the car a public place and said that the mask is like a 'protective shield', which will prevent the virus from spreading. The court dismissed the petitions challenging the challan for not wearing a mask while driving alone in the car.
