Srinagar: Three Amarnath Yatra pilgrims died of different causes on Tuesday.

A 75-year-old woman, Thota Radhnam, belonging to Andhra Pradesh, died of cardiac arrest in the north Kashmir Baltal base camp, police said.

Pushkar Joshi from Uttarakhand, who had been earlier hit by a shooting stone while trekking to the cave shrine from Baltal, succumbed in the hospital.

Radha Krishna Shastri, 65, also of Andhra Pradesh, too died of cardiac arrest while trekking from Baltal, police said.

Earlier, a Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, a local helper and a volunteer belonging to outside the state died of natural causes during the pilgrimage.

With the three deaths on Tuesday, the death toll of pilgrims and others associated with the Amarnath pilgrimage this year has risen to six.
