This is not the right time for politics says CM Kejriwal
New Delhi: There was a lot of debate in Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s statement that outsiders in Delhi will not treated for corona, But the Delhi government’s decision was overturned by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
At present, the debate on treatment of outsiders is going on in government and private hospitals of Delhi. There was a lot of uproar in the Kejriwal government after the decision was changed. Now Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal changed his stand. Kejriwal said that the decision of LG Anil Baijal will be implemented.
Lt Governor’s order will be implemented:
While addressing the media CM Kejriwal said, ‘We won 62 seats in the Delhi election. The centre has decided and this is not the time to differ. Whatever the centre has decided and the Lt Governor has ordered, that will be implemented. There will be no dispute or debate on this.’
‘If political parties keep fighting, corona will win. The entire country has to be united in its fight. You cannot even imagine the crisis we are in,’ said Kejriwal.
Arvind Kejriwal said, ’18 thousand people are under treatment, 15 thousand of them are in their homes. In the coming time, Corona is going to spread very fast in Delhi, on June 15, there will be 44 thousand cases. By July 31, we will need 80 thousand beds. For this, I will go out on the road myself.
In the last 24 hours 9985 new COVID19 cases & 279 deaths reported in India. Total number of cases in the country now at 276583, including 133632 active cases, 135206 cured.
