Raipur: The Director General (DG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) K Durga Prasad, on Thursday, said that the information regarding movement of CRPF personnel was leaked to Maoists by some unknown source. A day after a landmine explosion, which resulted in martyrdom of seven personnel including an officer, Prasad while interacting with media persons said, "I do not know how the details reached the Maoists but it is quite evident from the planned manner in which the attack was executed. We will inquire into lapses. Going by the diameter and depth of the crater, created in the road, the ultras seemed to have employed 50-60 kg of explosives. A team of improvised explosive device experts of the CRPF shall visit the site." The CRPF chief paid tribute to the martyrs at the Force's Mana Camp.

Prasad held a meeting with Senior Internal Security Adviser K Vijay Kumar, Chief Secretary Vivek Kumar Dhand, state DGP AN Upadhyay, Special DG (Anti-Naxal Operations) DM Awasthi and other top officials and took stock of the situation.
