New Delhi: Violent clashes broke out between two groups on the Assam-Mizoram border. Many people have been injured in this clash. After this, the atmosphere has become tense. Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has informed the Prime Minister's Office and the Union Home Ministry about this matter. With this, Sonowal has also spoken to Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga.

Violence in Assam Mizoram:

Officials told about the situation on Sunday. He said that the situation in the area adjacent to the border of Kolasib in Mizoram and Cachar district of Assam is now under control. Meanwhile, Mizoram Home Minister Lalchamliana has told that Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla will take stock of the situation.

He said that for this, the Union Home Secretary will preside over the meeting with the two states on Monday. He informed that the Chief Secretaries of both the states will attend this meeting.

To maintain the momentum of this development, there is a need to maintain peace and enhance relations between the states. Sonowal says that differences can occur, but all differences can be resolved through dialogue.

Miscreants burnt houses:

The miscreants burnt several houses near the Lailapur area near the Assam-Mizoram border. After this, Assam Forest Minister Parimal Sukhabaidya visited Lailpur region. During this, he appealed to the local people to maintain peace.
