New Delhi: Director Ali Abbas Zafar's new web series 'Tandav' is constantly growing in controversy. The makers of this web series are being accused of insulting Lord Ram, Narada and Shiva. After this, there is a demand for banning it continuously on social media.

At the same time, politics has also started regarding this. BJP MP Manoj Kotak has written a letter to Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar against 'Tandav'. Maharashtra BJP MLA Ram Kadam has lodged a complaint against it at Ghatkopar Police Station in Mumbai.

BJP MP writes to Javadekar:

BJP MP Manoj Kotak has written a letter to Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar. Along with this, he has demanded to take action in the matter soon. According to Kotak, an attempt made to hurt Hindu sentiments in the Tandav web series.

Kotak wrote, "The OTT platforms are completely free from censorship. They repeatedly attacked Hindu sentiments, which I strongly condemn." Tagging Prakash Javadekar, he wrote, "I request that OTT regulated in the interest of India's integrity."

Ram Kadam, an MLA from Maharashtra BJP, has filed a complaint against the makers of the web series Tandava at Ghatkopar Police Station in Mumbai for insulting Hindu deities. "Strict action should be taken against the actor, director and producer of the web series," he said.

Not only this, many BJP leaders have raised the demand to ban this series. Delhi BJP leader Kapil Mishra wrote in a social media post, 'Tandav is full of anti-Dalit and communal hatred against Hindus. Delhi BJP leader Narendra Kumar Chawla wrote in his post, 'After seeing this trend, I too demand a ban on Tandav.'
