Chennai: The nation is under complete lockdoown. PM Modi announced a complete lockdown and extended the duration till May3. In this tough time there are so many people who are working as corona warriors for us. Medical staff, police personnel and sanitization workers are our warriors.

They are giving their all time and risking their lives by paying their duty for the nation. Govt has announced every possible support for them and State govts are also supporting them in every manner. Today the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu K Palaniswami increased the amount of compensation money.

Compensation of Rs 50 lakh:

According to recent reports, Chief Minister K. Palaniswami announced compensation of Rs 50 lakh to the families of police, sanitary staff, revenue department officials and government health officers posted on COVID-19 duty. After this, in a statement issued here, he said that the compensation amount has been increased from the previously announced amount of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. He also said that a government job would also be provided to the family member of the deceased person.

Lockdown2.0: Current Situation in India

The number of coronavirus patients has reached 20 thousand. So far 19984 Corona cases have been reported, in which 640 people have died. At the same time, 3869 people have recovered. In the capital Delhi, the number of corona patients has crossed 2 thousand. While 77 people have lost their lives due to corona virus.
