New Delhi: The third phase of lock down is underway to prevent the spread of corona infection in the country. This phase of lockdown will end on 17 May. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the country yesterday. In this address, PM Modi spoke on the economic issue of the country and said that the situation arising out of the lockdown has been described as an opportunity to change.

The Prime Minister has said that the current situation in the world can become an opportunity for India. In such a situation, we have to become self-sufficient.

Vocal for Local:

In his address, PM Modi has given a new slogan to the countrymen to become 'Vocal for Local'. The effect of this initiative of PM is also visible. The Union Home Ministry has taken a major decision in this direction. The Home Ministry has decided that all the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) canteens will now only be selling indigenous products. The order will be applicable from June 1 to all canteens across the country. It is estimated that 50 lakh families of about 10 lakh CAPF personnel will use home grown goods.

Apart from this, Amit Shah also appealed to the people of the country to use more products made in the country. He wrote, 'I also appeal to the people of the country to make maximum use of the products made in the country and encourage others to do the same. Every Indian if using products made in India (indigenous) If we take a pledge, the democracy of the country can become self-sufficient in five years.

Announcing the economic package in the name of the country on Tuesday night, PM Modi said that the Corona crisis has explained to us the importance of local manufacturing, supply chain. Lokal now we have to make our life mantra, from today every Indian will have to become a vocal for their local. PM said that all people buy local products and promote them too.

Today Finance Minsiter Nirmala Sitharaman will announce the complete details related to this package.
