Supreme Court dismisses plea related to NEET & JEE 2020 Exam

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has expressed displeasure over the central government's affidavit. In a case related to media reporting on the Tablighi Jamaat during the onset of the Corona virus. Media reporting on Tablighi Jamaat has asked the Center to file an affidavit again. Tablighi Jamaat was accused of spreading the infection to various parts of the country during the Corona pandemic.

Supreme Court on Tablighi Jamaat:

The Supreme Court said that we want to know what kind of arrangement is there to deal with this type of content on TV. The Supreme court directed the Center to file a new affidavit related to the system of regulation of electronic media under the Cable TV Network Act.

File a proper affidavit: SC

A bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde told Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. 'First you did not file a proper affidavit and then you did not answer two important questions in the second affidavit. The apex court said that your reply is not satisfying. The court posted the case for hearing after three weeks. The court said that the case would hear again after three weeks.

'First you did not file a proper affidavit and then you filed an affidavit which did not deal with the two important questions. This way it cannot be done Mr Mehta,” a bench headed by Chief Justice S A Bobde told Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. “We want to know as to what is the mechanism to deal with these contents on television. If there is no regulatory mechanism then you create one. Regulation cannot be left to organisation like NBSA,' said the bench.

Please tell that Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind had filed a petition in the Supreme Court requesting to give instructions to stop running the wrong news about the organizing of Tablighi Jamaat. The petition demanded strict action against the culprits.
