Lucknow: Ahead of the festival season, the price of subsidised Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder has been increased by Rs 22. To burn your pockets even more, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) hiked the price of Petrol by 28 paise a litre.

Meanwhile, price of Diesel has been slashed by 6 paise effective from Saturday.

What IOC said?

  • The current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant increase in selling price of petrol and decrease in selling prices of diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.

The price of petrol was last hiked on September 15 by 58 paise. Price of Diesel, however, has slashed for the second time in a row as it was last cut by 31 paise in Sep mid.
