New Delhi: The number of corona virus infections in the country is increasing rapidly. Even on a daily level, more than 90 thousand cases of corona virus cases are being registered. In the last 24 hours, the number of corona infections in the country has crossed 5.3 million, with 93,337 new cases on Saturday. At the same time, 1,247 deaths have also occurred during this period.

95,880 corona virus patients cured:

According to Health Ministry data, a record 95,880 corona virus patients have been cured in the last 24 hours. While 93,337 new cases have been registered, the total number of cases has gone up to 5.3 million.

More than 42 lakh people in the country have overcome COVID-19 so far. According to the ministry data, India's recovery rate is now 79.28 percent, the highest in the world.

Corona rapidly increasing in India:

According to the Health Department, the worst affected state is Maharashtra. There are 21,656 new corona virus cases reported in the state. 22,078 people have also recovered during this period.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Delhi rose to 2,38,828 with 4,127 new cases and 30 deaths on Friday. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said on Friday that around 30 candidates for COVID-19 vaccine are under development across the country.
