Single day spike of 64,553 infections and 1,007 Corona deaths in India

New Delhi: There have been 64,553 new cases of corona virus infection in a single day in the country and with this, the total number of infections has increased to 24 lakh 61 thousand 191. At the same time, the number of people who have been cured of the corona virus has increased from the number of infected to over 10 lakh.

55 Thousand Corona Case in a day:

Maximum of 55,574 patients recovered in 24 hours. So far 17 lakh 51 thousand 556 people in the country have become infection free after treatment. With the increase in the number of people recovering from the corona virus, the health rate in the country has increased to 71.17 percent.

More than 1thousand deaths in a day:

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 1007 people have died due to infection in the last 24 hours, raising the number of dead to 48,040.

The death rate from infection in the country has come down to 1.95 percent.

The ministry said that the current number of infected people has declined due to the recovery of a record number of patients. At present only 26.88 percent of the total cases are infected.
