New Delhi: Supreme Court will hear the petitions on removing protesters from Shaheen Bagh. People in Shaheen Bagh are protesting against Citizenship amendment Act and NRC.

Today SC will hear the case after it deferred its judgment in view of the February 8 Delhi elections.

People of Shaheen Bagh are protesting at this area for almost two months. Locals from that area are facing general problems like traffic disturbance.

We understand there is a problem and we have to see how to resolve it. We will take it up on Monday. We will be in a better position by then," a bench comprising justices SK Kaul and KM Joseph said.

Local people having problems:

Beacuse of the Protest happening at Shaheenn Bagh local people are facing a lot of problems. In the petition filed in the Supreme Court, it has been said that there is a problem with the road connecting Delhi to Noida and an appeal has been made to open the way. The SC will hear today only on this petition.

Protest in Shaheen Bagh:

People from Shaheen Bagh area are protesting againt CAA-NRC. It has been more than a month they are sitting there and not allowing any outsider to come in. Anurag Thakur was also in headline for his controversial statement for prostesters, when he said “Goli MAARO”.

Shaheen Bagh Protesters are protesting for 57 days, but because of this normal life is getting disturbed. Supreme Court to hear the pleas seeking removal of protesters from Delhi's Shaheen Bagh today. The PIL, filed by Dr Nand Kishore Garg and Amit Sahni through their lawyer Shashank Deo Sudhi earlier last week to remove protesters from Kalindi Kunj Area.
