New Delhi: Supreme Court will hear the petitions on removing protesters from Shaheen Bagh. People in Shaheen Bagh are protesting against Citizenship amendment Act and NRC.
Today SC will hear the case after it deferred its judgment in view of the February 8 Delhi elections.
People of Shaheen Bagh are protesting at this area for almost two months. Locals from that area are facing general problems like traffic disturbance.
We understand there is a problem and we have to see how to resolve it. We will take it up on Monday. We will be in a better position by then," a bench comprising justices SK Kaul and KM Joseph said.
Local people having problems:
Beacuse of the Protest happening at Shaheenn Bagh local people are facing a lot of problems. In the petition filed in the Supreme Court, it has been said that there is a problem with the road connecting Delhi to Noida and an appeal has been made to open the way. The SC will hear today only on this petition.
