Indian equity market trades flat in early trade, Sensex 0.04 per cent higher

The BSE Sensex, which opened at 30,285.61 points, was trading at 30262.08 points (at 9.18 am.) in the early session, higher 11.10 points or 0.04 per cent from the previous day's close at 30,250.98 points

Mumbai: Key Indian equity market indices opened flat on Friday following global cues with the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), trading at 11.10 points or 0.04 per cent higher during the early session.

The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading at 7.55 points or 0.08 per cent higher at 9,429.95 points.

The BSE Sensex, which opened at 30,285.61 points, was trading at 30262.08 points (at 0918 hours) in the early session, higher 11.10 points or 0.04 per cent from the previous day's close at 30,250.98 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 30,299.74 points and a low of 30,241.87 points in the trade so far.
