Security forces kill two terrorists in Kashmir

As many as two terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces in north Kashmir's Bandipore on Tuesday. "The terrorists were involved in a sustained gunfight till two of them were killed," said a senior police officer.

Srinagar: As many as two terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces in north Kashmir's Bandipore on Tuesday. "The terrorists were involved in a sustained gunfight till two of them were killed," said a senior police officer.

What else police said:

  • An operation was carried by troops of the 13 Rashtriya Rifles and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the state police after they were informed about terrorist's presence in Bonikhan village.
  • The terrorists were believed to be of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
