New Delhi: The second wave of Coronavirus in India is proving to be quite fatal. Every day a large number of new cases of corona (Covid 19) are coming out. Also, more people are dying.

Patients facing problem in breathing:

Meanwhile, the head of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Dr. Balram Bhargava has said that this second wave of corona virus infection is not showing any increase in death rate or death rate compared to the first wave.

Cases increasing steadily:

Dr. Bhargava also said during this time that this time patients are getting more need of oxygen. Cases have increased in the country due to difficulty in breathing. While earlier corona waves were showing symptoms like dry cough, joint pain and headache.

Dr Bhargava has said that in this wave of Corona, there are more cases of breathing trouble than the previous wave. He says that this time more need of oxygen is being seen. According to the ICMR chief, there have been laxities regarding the corona. Also, corona virus mutants from Britain, Brazil and South Africa are also a concern.

With a record 2,73,810 new cases of covid-19 reported in India, the total infection cases crossed 150 million. About 25 lakh new cases have come up within the last 15 days. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday morning, the number of patients being treated in the country has also gone up to more than 19 lakhs.

There are a total of 1,50,61,919 cases of covid-19 in the country and the death toll rose to 1,78,769 after 1,619 people died within a day.

The situation has become so bad that patients are not able to get beds even in the hospital. According to the data released by the Health Ministry, the total number of infected patients in the country has increased to one crore 50 lakh 61 thousand 919 after the arrival of new cases of corona.
