New Delhi: New Delhi, Agencies. Opposition parties have so far not allowed the proceedings of the House to demand an inquiry into the Pegasus spying scandal. Even today, both the houses had to be adjourned due to the uproar by the opposition in the Parliament. The opposition has made it clear that until the government agrees to discuss, the struggle of Parliament will not come to a halt.

Parliament Monsoon Session:

At the same time, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has warned the MPs who create ruckus in Parliament. He said that if this continues to happen then action will have to be taken against the members. By passing two bills in the Lok Sabha and one in the Rajya Sabha, the government has given a clear message that it does not care about the pressure of the opposition.

Speaker Om Birla's warning to members:

Shiromani Akali Dal demonstrated in Parliament on the issue of farmers. Harsimrat Kaur Badal (SAD) said, 'I am giving adjournment motion everyday for 9 days. If the government wanted discussion, it would have given time by accepting the adjournment motion. This is an anti-food government.

The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 11.30 am and Rajya Sabha till 12.30 am due to the uproar by the opposition in both the houses of the Parliament.

Congress MP Ripun Bora reached Parliament by bicycle to protest against the hike in fuel prices. He said that we have been demanding a discussion in Parliament on the increase in the prices of all essential commodities. As MPs, if we were not allowed to discuss in Parliament, where would we raise such issues?
