27 people died due to a massive fire in a game zone in Rajkot, Gujarat on Saturday. This incident happened in TRP Gaming Zone of Rajkot. According to media reports, a ticket scheme of Rs99 was running in the gaming zone on Saturday. Because of this many people were present in the gaming zone. Information about the cause of the fire has not been received but initial investigation has revealed that the fire broke out due to short circuit. Among the 27 people who died in this incident, 12 children are also included.

According to reports, many people were present in the gaming zone when this accident happened. This was because it was Saturday and a Rs99 ticket scheme was also running in the gaming zone. It is believed that this accident happened due to the negligence of the gaming zone operator. The police have also taken 4 people into custody in the case. This includes TRP Game Zone owner Yuvraj Singh Solanki, his partner Prakash Jain, manager Nitin Jain and another person Rahul Rathod.

According to sources, a large quantity of inflammable substances were kept in the TRP gaming zone and they also did not have a fire NOC. According to the report, several thousand liters of petrol and diesel were kept there.

Not only this, there was only one gate for entry and exit. Due to this, after the fire, people were unable to escape easily and died due to getting trapped there.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Police of Gujarat has directed the Commissioners of Police and District Superintendents of Police to inspect all the game zones in the state and immediately close down the game zones running without fire safety permission.

27 bodies have been brought to the post mortem house of Rajkot Civil Hospital. Post mortem of all these is being done and DNA test is also being done so that they can be identified. The work of taking samples of the relatives of the deceased for DNA matching is also going on.
