Recovered cases 3.4 times more than active Corona cases in India

In the Health Ministry press conference on corona virus, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that today the number of people recovering in the country is 3.4 times more than the active cases.

New Delhi: In the Health Ministry press conference on corona virus, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that today the number of people recovering in the country is 3.4 times more than the active cases. The number of recovered patients is more than 2.4 million. 22.2 percent of the total cases are active. The recovery rate has exceeded 75 percent. So far 30 million tests have been done.

Drop of corona cases recorded:

Rajesh Bhushan said that in the last 24 hours there has been a drop of 6423 in active cases. Out of the total active cases, only 2.70 percent of the cases are on oxygen support. Only 1.92 per cent of active cases are in ICU and 0.29 per cent are on ventilator support.

In India, 26% of the world's cases have been reported in the last one week. If we pay attention to the report of the Worldometer, the number of corona patients in the world is more than 2 crore 38 lakh, out of which 8 lakh 17 thousand people have died. More than 1 crore 63 lakh patients have been recovered, while the number of active cases is above 66 lakh.

On August 20, 2.67 lakh cases were reported across the world, while 68 thousand new cases were reported in India. On 21 August, 2 lakh 58 thousand cases were reported in the whole world, while 69 thousand new cases were reported in India alone. Similarly, on August 22, 2 lakh 67 thousand cases were registered in the world, whereas 70 thousand new cases were reported in India alone.

At the same time, on August 23, 2 lakh 10 thousand new cases were reported in the whole world, while the number of new patients in India was more than 61 thousand. While on August 24, there were 2 lakh 13 thousand new cases in the world, whereas on this day alone, the number of new patients in India was more than 59 thousand.
