Rel Jio effect: RCom to offer 300 minutes of 4G calling at Re 1
New Delhi: Ahead of the imminent launch of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) 4G services, the company's rival Reliance Communications (RCom) on Tuesday announced to offer 300 minutes of app-to-app 4G calling at just Re 1.
The service offered by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani-led firm will be valid for 30 days. On an average, a subscriber can use 10 minutes of calling per day under the limited period offer.
- The users will receive a daily data credit of 7 MB enabling them to make 4G calls.
- “The compatible apps include WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangout, Skype, Imo and Viber,” said RCom Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gurdeep Singh while interacting with newsmen in New Delhi.
- Currently, RCom has over 110 million subscribers.
- The number of its 4G customers was not disclosed by the company.
