New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people on the occasion of Onam along with Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, and Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Sunday .

In his message, Kovind said, "I offer my greetings and good wishes to the people of the country, particularly to our brothers and sisters from Kerala."

"Onam celebrates the hard work and toil of our farmers. May this festival be an occasion for celebration and sharing joy with our families, while not forgetting to reach out to those in need. Let us work unitedly to promote harmony and fraternity in our society," he said.
