New Delhi: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said without naming Pakistan that the ceasefire between the two countries has succeeded only because of our strength. He said that the cross-border strikes in the year 2016 changed our mindset and after that the Balakot air strike in 2019 strengthened it further.

Rajnath Singh slams Pakistan:

The Defense Minister highlighted that India will not hesitate to launch anti-terrorist operations against its adversaries if needed. Rajnath Singh said these things at the Defense Services Staff College (DSSC) in Wellington, Tamil Nadu. On this occasion, he also said that despite the challenges on the border, India will not compromise on the national security of the country.

Rajnath Singh said, "After losing two wars, one of our neighboring countries (Pakistan) has launched a proxy war, and terrorism has become a central part of its policy. It is targeting India by providing weapons, funds and training terrorists. Despite the challenges on the border, the common man is confident that India's national security will not be compromised. This belief gradually grew stronger that India would not only put an end to terror on its own soil, but would also not hesitate to attack the neighboring land if needed.

On the current situation in Afghanistan, the Defense Minister said, 'The changing equations in Afghanistan are a recent and important example of this. These circumstances have forced every country to think on its strategy today. QUAD has been formed keeping these things in mind. He also said that there would be new groups to fight unified against the enemies. In these, according to the new era, extremely lethal, brigade-sized agile and self-sufficient fighters will be made.
