Rajnath Singh launches 15 products developed by defense PSUs

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that four MoUs and contracts of Defense India Startup-Challenge will be signed today. This will not only meet domestic demand but will also boost production for export.

New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that four MoUs and contracts of Defense India Startup-Challenge will be signed today. This will not only meet domestic demand but will also boost production for export.

Self-sufficiency in defense manufacturing:

Along with this, he said that signing of these MoUs and contracts will promote self-reliance in technologies related to defense manufacturing. Self-sufficiency in defense manufacturing has not only been seen as a domestic necessity but also with a perspective of building export capabilities.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on weapons made by PSU:

In the defense sector, 15 weapons manufactured by Indian companies (PSUs) were launched for the country's self-sufficiency. Four of these products are made by the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).

At the same time, each weapon has been developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), Mazgaon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL), Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) and Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL).
