Udaipur: A woman police officer in Rajasthan has accused the Central government for stealing her phrase ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ for the campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched last year.

Chetna Bhati, posted as an SHO at women's police station in Udaipur, has written a letter to Prime Minister seeking recognition for her creativity.

Bhati has filed an RTI applications to the Prime Minister's Office to know about the slogan that how got its hold but they failed to file the reply.

Bhati is a post-graduate in History and English, and was a government school teacher before she joined the police force 20 years ago.
